Fremont Street Light Show
Fremont Street Light Show
This is an amazing piece of technology. A two block section of the street is covered with a domed roof about 50 feet high. If you saw it more than 5 years ago, it has been significantly improved since then. It used to be colored incancescent lights. It is now covered with LEDs and has a tremendous image quality. It is like the biggest computer screen in the world!
A 5 minute multiple image and music video tribute is played on the half hour starting at 7 pm. The show changes monthly.
There are numerous restaurants, bars and, shops.
Two bands play at different ends of Fremont street. they typically play 70’s and 80’s music.
